it has been a long time since i update my blog again

firstly

i would like to thank all my friends for my birthday party thingy

and secondly

i went to the acs' carnival

it was quite okay

and tiring!

may be i shouldn't have wear that pair of shoes

it makes my feet so painful

anyways

i think their school is really big

and this kind of carnival is really special

and the p.e. teacher is a hot guy(shy..)

thirdly

i got to meet one of my primary school friend after the carnival-Chris!

She has become prettier (shy..)

ohoh and we didnt feel akward:]

we went to bugis

and it was great

she said that she may not be coming back to singapore

so there might not be a time we can meet after she flys to australia

oh and about this

i am so glad that she wants to meet up with me

and forthly,

i wanted to change a new blog

but i think i will just stay with this one for the time being

i will definitely change another one

o level art paper 1

it's over

i think some of them really feel relieve

while some are not

including me.

i think i've done badly for both

prework and final work

i guess i cannot get my a2 for it already

anyways

now that it is over

i really want to focus on my other subjects

both of my maths have deteriorate

while for humanities

the same old thing

section a for geo and ss i cannot make it

last but worst my english

with the grade i am getting now

i do not even think about passing it in o level

two more weeks later

o level paper 2 is coming up

another problem for me too

this year is a tough year

i think i will miss it very much when it is over

went to city hall

with wip,doll,gui,su'and may today

it has been an exciting day

i've not been going out since mid yr

i found it different to go out with them

rather than with my other friends

i think we enjoyed spending time together

i hope there will be a next time_

back to the city hall

i saw great things there

especially the video,mix media and painting

well,of course

i flip through the book illustrations

and i understand the flow and harmony

that mr lee was talking about

all thanks to ms chia

she reminded me to visit the exhibition

and through this

i get to spend time with my lovely friends_

after the AEP

some of them decided to go home

and lastly left gui and i

we'd a talk in the foodcourt

we've talked over lots of things

and for art

she came to the conclusion

that i'm not doing art for myself

i'm doing it where mr lee wants it to be

at the same time

she told me about this 'skill'

that she'd long discovered from me

and i'm really glad to hear that

i realise there is something

that i've to work out for myself

i do not know if i can do it in this short time

and do not know if i'm prepared for it

guess i can't keep thinking about it over

got to try for once perhaps

mr lee's way of pushing us forward

may not be the best

but i think it did help in another way

though i still find that

i can't take it any longer anytime

when he gives setback

i tend to escape from it sometimes

i know i will have to face it in the end

but i got to get myself ready first

this is my way_

there is this kind of people on the world

i don't like the way when they express themselves

but guess like i've to adapt to it

Art art and art

it's not fun after all for o level

after thought

i found that i somehow regret taking art

it's so hard to take criticism from anyone

i've been getting less and less confident

if i'd not taken it as a subject

i will be happy with myself

happy about what i will be doing

and happy about being stupid

mr lee had actually introduced

a lot of things about art to us

i'm greatful about that

however

i don't want to be exposed to those things yet

i rather continue to live in my own world

it's happier that way

really.

OMG，

cant believe the prelim for art is over

haha_

i really feel relieved

after passing up the pre.works

and

i hugged my friendsXD_

it is a great way to express myself

how thankful i was

for their help_

even though

i still did not manage to finish it

i feel better this time round

because i can feel something

something that connects

me and my work

that i have never felt this way before_

moreover

i feel the encouragement

from teachers too

not only for art

but other sujbects as well

it really drives me

and i felt that i should work hard for that

so as not to disappoint them

and myself_

it was really tiring

for me to work all the way

without having enough sleep

for these days

but

i enjoyed the process

when i was doing my art

and it felt so good after submission_

how scary to see the count down!!

it's 12 days left!!

my plan is__

finish all the pre. work by this coming sunday,

despite i've not done most of the school holiday homeworks..

i think the 3 days camp is really useful,

many of my friends had helped me

and encouraged me to be more confident.

now,i have more faith in myself to finish it,

all thanks to them!

i shall not fail their trust and be sorry to myself.

i believe i can do it!!!!

and i believe, all my friends can do it too!!!

during the camp,

mr lee showed us varies ted talks.

and i totally agree with what Tony Robbins has said:

All personal breakthroughs begin with a change in beliefs.

other than that,

he also said something about the decision.

everyone has to make decisions,

and i think,

what really matters is

how strong the mind to achieve the decision

that you have made.

wow,it has been a long time since i update again

today is the last day of SYF,i guess

and hope every CCA gets what they hope to get

well,for arts...

i have not really started on my paper 2 yet

i've just chosen the topic for it today

and it's only 8 more days to the actual day!!

how scaring is that?!!!

on the other hand-paper 1,

i've not been doing anything for it

the past 3 weeks

i know it's kinda stupid that

i am not doing anything for it

but seriously

i am suppose to step down for sc on the day,

30th of april

and that xxx postpone it

to the end of mid year exam!

all this week i was doing sc things

not as many and heavy as last time

however i need to study!

and i dont want to wast time on it anymore

somemore this year is so important

and i am saying all this is because

i had no time after school for art_

it's like 70 days to 'o' level art

and i have not been revising

i have not thought of anything

i am quite happy to hear that i am going to step down soon

from art club,student council_

well,

i know i have to do my art soon and then,

but i just keep dragging it

and most importantly,

THERE IS ONLY 84 days left!!!_

may be just like what others said

'i want to draw,but not this kind of art'

this is a challenge

i said before that i want to take art as a subject

if i give up half way

not the others,but i will be laughing at myself

that i can't believe i give up so easily

they have already told me

what i would encounter at the first place

and i am clear about it

however,it is still my interest in the end

i have no idea why,

i am urge to do my art suddenly.

i know i have to work on my speed,

also,

the layouts,

improvement on my skill

and,

the usage of other medium.

i will try.

i was doing backdrop with Gui ting and Annie

for achievement day on Tuesday.

and madam ng came over,

she just criticize about the backdrop

like nobody's business.

and guess what she said?

'oh,this is art club's standard,

i am so disappointed.'

and

'the design was given to you long time ago,

and i only see it was painted yesterday'

doesn't she know that there is SYF going on

and not all the students in art club are able to sacrifice their time for it.

furthermore,

not all the art club members are able to paint that well.

i do not wish to admit this,

but this is true.

on top of these,

i am so agree with what Gui ting had said on that day,

'we're taking the criticism of a person who does not know art.'

(something like this,even though i am not really sure if she knows about art)

i don't know about others,

but i feel really sad about it.

we do put in our efforts,

she doesn't have to be so mean.

if they can do so well,

and ask so many things from us,

why don't they go and do it?

no time?

we don't have the time too!

i was planned to do my art on Monday and Tuesday

and i've wasted the two full days for that backdrop.

i hope i can step down quickly,

and get away from all these things as fast as i can,

i really wish to focus on my studies and art only.

hmm

it's been long time since i'd update my blog_

it's already coming to the end of the march holidays

and i've not been following my schedules to do what i am suppose to do_

not even 4 boards!!

with school homeworks not done too_

i've just went to wip's blog

and she really knows how we are feeling

at least how i am feeling

it's really hard for us

and we are struggle for it

but we did not give up

that may be the most important thing

and not to forget that

we need to have the courage!

really,the courage to move on despite the comments from others

the others,which includes those who know art too

ya,that's what i say

and it really hurts me a lot,a lot

until i can't stand up again

i lost my faith in myself for what i've known for art

and i failed continuously because i do not know what can i do

or what i can do initially

i just gave it all away

just for a person's comment

at last

i finalise my idea

but when i told my mum about it

she said that it sounds a bit irrelevant

and i was like, : ' not again! '

but i don't wish to change my idea

until i talk to mr lee

but he is going to be away from school next week_

wip say may be she will drop it

i don't know if she is serious about it

but it really moves me when i see many of my friends are in process

hmm...

i've had a talk with gui this monday_

i think she really thinks through a lot of the questions on those matters

although they might make no sense to other people

but think it another way round

we should all have our own thoughts don't we

even though they may appear to the same as what other people think or may not_

yes they are related to 'ART' in a way

as to me i think that all the things in this world are related to art

and because art is used so widely and commonly that

people tend to forget about its existence_

the world is changing

the society is changing too

art has become from familiar to most familiar

however most people don't see that

and they can't accept the fact that everything we see

even in our daily life

it's a kind of art

some of them reject the ideas of how art can be

thus the world of art still goes on but in a disorder manner

people's mind can change how the things are going to be

and i think that it affects on art a lot_

All of these are just my opinions XD_

partly because i did not know how to continue and

i do not know how to make full use of my time

i always do things slowly

i had a pleasant time in the art lesson today

may be because i know that at least i had done something for my course work_

after the drawing the still-life of glass container, i have to thought of how and

what i am going to do next,

draw another glass container of different view or try to link the one i have

drawn to my ideas?_

anw, mr lee didn't really finish listening to my ideas of the course work last

time

and then i think he had forgotten about it

i was wondering should i discuss with him about my course work again

but i am afraid that i will have nothing to say when i see him

that was what happened last time

my mind was almost blank

will it be better if i write it down and pass to him rather than talk to him?_

today,mr lee showed us two videos

one was about a person drawing portrait by charcoal

it was super real and i like it a lot

another one was about this female writer

she had a talk on this TED

and it was awesome!

even though i can't catch her for a few lines because she speaks too fast

but i think the talk does help me in some ways

i hope there will be more videos like these two the next time_

besides all these,

i found out that wip is so fast

in the way that she can copy the names of the videos and the writer's name

i hope i can be like her, a fast catcher

and she can always remember the artists and things relevant to art which i

can't_

other than that, i think that i am fortunate to meet su'aidah,wip and some of

the other friends

they encourage me and introduce to me more things about art stuff :]
